4 Facts about aircraft accidents πŸ’€

Hi, this is Joshua.

Joshua from Skyincident

Some of people know I've been working as a data analyst for a couple years and I found the interesting facts about airplane crashes. And I analyzed it just for my side project.

1. US is the place where most accidents happen πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

2. California 🧸 is the deadliest air trip state in US

I thought it’s Alaska first time, but I figured out California has the most accident cases. It happens a lot because of high terrain + high temperature. See the geography below.

3. Aeroflot πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί is the most dangerous airline in the world

As you see in the graph, Aeroflot is the most dangerous airline in the world. It's just for commercial operators. No wonder Russian pilots didn't have proper training. Since the majority of crashes also happen during a training.

4. Douglas is the most dangerous airplane manufacturer in the world

Even considering accidents happened to Boeing and Airbus, Douglas is still #1 maker with most accident cases.

But rest assured, since 2004, the number of crashes has been decreasing…

Since NTSB professionals are busting their butt to investigate the accident's cause and make a regulation, the number of accidents is decreasing now. And they're making regulations to prevent past accident cases.
